S Tier Dominance in the Marvel Rivals Season 4 Tier List
Doctor Strange received buffs that pushed him firmly into S tier. His cooldown reduction lets him spam abilities, and his teleport remains one of the strongest tools in the game. Groot also sits comfortably in S tier, with his synergy alongside Mantis making him a space-creating monster.
Jeff the Land Shark, on the other hand, feels overtuned. Already strong last season, his recent buffs made him one of the most oppressive characters to deal with. Players are calling him outright broken. Venom, Emma Frost, Ultron, Phoenix, and the Human Torch round out the S tier with their mix of tankiness, damage, and oppressive utility.
The newcomer Angela has surprised the community by becoming arguably the strongest pick in the game. Despite bug fixes, her damage and survivability make her a standout pick, with top-ranked players climbing leaderboards using her exclusively.
High A Tier Picks and Meta Shifts
Adam Warlock lands between high A and low S. He’s valuable in triple support comps but often considered the last option of that trio. Cloak and Dagger also find themselves in high A thanks to their strong ultimate and versatile kit.
