Marvel Rivals Season 4 Leaks Reveal K’un-Lun Map and New Hero

Season 4 of Marvel Rivals is already taking shape, even before Season 3 goes live. A new data mine from XOXleak has revealed that the upcoming map will be set in K’un-Lun, a mystical location known from the Iron Fist storyline. This confirms previous speculation, with voice lines and mission descriptions now backing up the location’s inclusion.

Players will escort a mysterious tablet to Shou-Lao, the dragon guardian of K’un-Lun, in a convoy-style map. The payload, speculated to resemble the Lifeline tablet, plays a key role in an unfolding conflict. Doctor Doom appears to be at the center of this crisis once again, with several hero dialogues pointing to a growing corruption beneath the city’s surface.

From lines referencing sacred protectors to ancient dragons and Wakandan history, it’s clear the story will dive deeper into Marvel lore than ever before.

New Season 3 Ending Sets Up Hela and Mystery Character

At the end of Season 3, a gallery card reveals a cryptic moment: a defeated Hela is approached by a mysterious figure. This individual appears large in stature and carries Daredevil’s signature horned silhouette—except something feels off. The glowing purple eyes hint at mind control, perhaps from Kilgrave, also known as the Purple Man.

The figure’s eerie posture and lack of visible emotion sparked debates across the community. Is this truly Daredevil, perhaps under the control of The Hand? Or is it someone else entirely—like Di Jang from the Iron Fist comics, who commands a city of refuge and wears shadows like a cloak? His visual description and rooftop movements align closely with the image shown.

Miller Ross, a frequent source for Marvel Rivals lore developments, helped confirm the image and teased further Season 4 connections.

Daredevil and Angela: The Season 4 Hero Candidates?

Daredevil is one of the names included in the Marvel Rivals internal hero list, alongside already-playable characters like Phoenix and Blade. While his role remains unconfirmed, there is growing speculation that he may arrive as a Vanguard instead of a Duelist. That classification would explain the larger physique and defensive role teased in current data.

One of his possible passive abilities, labeled as “spherical clipping,” suggests enhanced sensory awareness. This could allow Daredevil to detect enemies through terrain, making him unique in gameplay.

Angela also surfaces as a potential addition. As Thor and Loki’s sister, her story ties into the current lore through her younger sibling Laussa, who resides in the eighth city—under the protection of the Prince of Orphans. Several hero interactions reference Angela, though the game has not yet disclosed her role, class, and abilities.

Her presence on the leaked hero list, combined with an unnamed Vanguard spot, has led many to believe she could arrive in Season 4. It’s also possible her lore will expand during the season before becoming playable in a later patch.

K’un-Lun, Doom, and a New Threat Lurking in the Shadows

All signs point to Season 4 focusing on a larger battle for control of K’un-Lun, with Doctor Doom once again manipulating events from behind the scenes. Whether Daredevil is a pawn of The Hand, a victim of Kilgrave’s influence, or not Daredevil at all—his presence, nevertheless, indicates serious trouble.

Furthermore, the corrupted forces underneath K’un-Lun, the dragon Shou-Lao’s role in the storyline, and the mysterious tablet mission all hint at a season deeply rooted in mysticism, martial arts history, and power struggles.

In addition, with story arcs extending from Hela’s defeat to Iron Fist’s homeland and potential hero debuts from both Earth-bound defenders and celestial warriors, Season 4 is shaping up to be one of the game’s most lore-heavy updates yet.
