Welcome to the exciting pandemonium of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 with The Devil’s Pack: a main quest that encompasses intrigue and moral dilemmas. It will challenge the player to reunite the fragmented gang of the Dry Devil, so expect lots of treacherous encounters. This guide will have you covered step-by-step throughout while ensuring you are on your toes with its unpredictable nature.
Starting the Quest

Initiating the quest, first travel to the northernmost part of the map, to a place called Devil’s Den. There you will meet Kubyenka, your primary contact for the quest. Start the conversation to acquire information regarding five ex-gang members you need to find: Adder, Bohuta, Ranyek, Matthew, and Janosh. Every branch of dialogue with Kubyenka should be exhausted to ensure that goals are set for all five individuals. When done, there shall be two map waypoints marked on your map leading to Bohuta and Matthew for your quest.
Finding Bohuta

Journey to Grund, where this man has given up the life of a criminal for religion. During the day, he can be found praying at his brother’s grave in the church cemetery. Bohuta would not join them again for the sake of faith and redemption. However, he does give the player a location for Ranyek, marking a new waypoint on the player’s map.
Bohuta calls for you to join him for a prayer at the graveyard. Accepting would enhance your friendship and grant you a treasure map if you follow his prayers without correcting his Latin. Should you decline or insult him, he will promptly fight you back. Either way, Bohuta is adamant about not returning to the gang.
Ranyek’s Fate

Head over to the inn between Pschitoky and Bylany, and have a talk with Innkeeper Wolfram Raus about Ranyek. Use all the dialogue possibilities to find out that Ranyek is mixed up with the dice players at Bylany. Travel to the Bylany Inn and go up to the dice players. They will show you to a cesspit behind the inn, where Ranyek sadly drowned.
Now, the dice players demand that you repay the debt owed by Ranyek and offer you some options: you can repay them, threaten them, or fight them. Alternatively, you can recover Ranyek’s body from the cesspit and leave with his powerful bow and pay off the debt with it. It is generally advisable that you run away with Ranyek’s bow for its value, but prepare for a long chase.
Saving Adder

Progress to Pschitoky and speak with the butcher’s wife, Eva. She’ll let you know that her husband falsely accused Adder of cheating and is planning his execution. This part of the quest has a hidden timer, so be quick. Track the waypoint east of Pschitoky to find Adder being set up for hanging by angry townsfolk.
This encounter includes three skill tests; the best alternative here is saying, “He belongs to the lord of Suchdol.” When successful, the butcher would set Adder free. Immediately cut the rope that binds the tree and unfasten Adder’s hands before he chokes to death. Once you have freed him, Adder will request weapons to seek vengeance. You can turn him down and send him straight to Devil’s Den to meet the rest of the group.
It is vital to be immediate in the intervention here, as that will keep Adder alive. Whereas, any slip in time or failure in the skill checks will kill Adder and close this stage of the quest.
Breaking Janosh Free

In Miskowitz, Janosh is confined in a pillory, imprisoned following an incident in which he maimed a villager, named Loyza. He can be rescued in two main ways: one is to solve the situation peacefully and the other is to get him out by stealth. The peaceful method would be to heal Loyza using bandages and a Painkiller brew potion. After Loyza is treated, Henry is required to pay a fine of 500 Groschen to the jailer so that Janosh can be released.
Confronting Matthew

In southeast Kuttenberg, there’s Matthew who pretends to be a tax collector along the main road between Suchdol and Miskowitz. He makes an ambush on the travelers there for coin. To get to him, fast travel from the town until an event shows where he is. Usually, Matthew is accompanied by several armed men, making it difficult to negotiate or confront him.
When players encounter him, they will be tempted with dialogue options which will take them through a skill check. The players could pay a fee of 1,000 Groschen or avoid monetary fees if they have high Speech skills. Either way, Matthew refuses all attempts made by the player to persuade him to rejoin the gang. If all else fails, prepare for combat with his men or attempt to flee. After dealing with him, the player can loot or find the book needed to complete the task of “The Collector.”
Completing the Quest

Once all the members have been accounted for, proceed to Devil’s Den and report back to Dry Devil. Celebrate with the rest of the gang in merry conversation and drinks while you finish the quest. The achievement “The Dirty Seven” unlocks when completed as a hallmark of Dry Devil’s friends finding one another successfully.
Conclusion

This is what really makes “The Devil’s Pack” one of the most interesting quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Now that the gang is back together, or, at least, accounted for; you will see the drama of The Devil’s Pack unfold with you truly as a master of diplomacy, combat, and strategy. The drinks flowing at Devil’s Den mark a celebration not just for the mission’s closure but also for the fact that you are that much wiser when traversing the murky waters of loyalty and betrayal.
