While not as dominant, the Mandalorian Jetpack stands on its own as a solid, if situational, mobility tool. It directly competes with the Jedi lightsaber in many players’ loadouts, particularly as a second mobility option alongside shockwaves.
Unlike the lightsaber, which requires quick swaps and precise timing for flips, the jetpack offers a more accessible option. It requires just a jump and crouch input to activate and deactivate, and it completely negates fall damage. Players who struggle with mechanical skill or weapon swapping may find the jetpack’s ease of use appealing in close-range fights.
Fighting Advantage in Low Ranked Lobbies
While not ideal for traveling across the map, the Mandalorian Jetpack shines in combat scenarios—especially against lower or average skill players. Its ability to disrupt aim in close fights allows players to reposition over or behind enemies, breaking their line of sight and camera control.
In lobbies where opponents don’t have matching mobility like lightsabers or jetpacks, the item provides a decisive edge. Usefulness Against Ships and Sabers

Similarly, in melee situations, the jetpack puts distance between the user and lightsaber-wielding enemies. This adds a tactical defensive layer, especially when outnumbered or facing aggressive saber users.
Why It Might Not Make the Final Loadout
Despite its strengths, the Mandalorian Jetpack may not always be worth the inventory slot. Shockwave grenades still provide superior map movement and escape potential, while lightsabers offer similar vertical mobility when mastered. Jetpacks also don’t combo well with shockwaves—using both simultaneously cancels momentum and reduces movement efficiency.
