EA needs to deliver on this promo Friday because the first two Fridays of FC 24 Futties were memorable. The first Friday featured the double Evo stuff, and last Friday included great SBCs, such as Dybala. The cards in packs for Batch Two were also impressive, making it a banger week. For this week to be a success, EA must follow suit.
Packability of Futties Team 3
EA needs to make Futties Team Three packable. Recent experiences showed that packing top players like King, Diego Carlos and Javier Pastore was challenging. Many have not seen cards like Rooney, Hansen, Best, Cantona, Lewandowski and Benzema. Making these cards more packable can bring back the hype. August is the downhill trend for the game, but it is also the fun time of the year. EA needs to let us enjoy the game, our coins, and the players’ ratings to the fullest. Allowing a higher packability of Futties cards would significantly enhance the gaming experience.
Speculation about who will be in packs today is rampant, with no concrete leaks. Commonly mentioned names include Salah, Ronaldo, and Dembele. Some tweets from the hardcore community hint at possible inclusions. However, these sources are not always credible. For example, one leaker mentioned Eto’o as an SBC. Though unlikely due to some political issues, if Eto’o gets a card, it could be a game-changer. Similarly, leaks about Frimpong, Yaya Toure, and Mane have emerged. Mane’s inclusion seems plausible, given the pattern of recent releases.
Upcoming SBC Leaks?
Potential SBCs today include top-tier players. If Eto’o or a 98-rated player gets an SBC, the requirements might drive up the market prices of certain cards. Past experiences, like Mendy or Griezmann futties in FIFA 22, showed how specific requirements could influence the market. EA might start requiring older promo cards for new SBCs, which could make prices soar.
EA could enhance the game by allowing evolutions (Evos) for Futties cards. They have released many 95-rated Futties cards, which could be evolved to 97. Letting us evolve any card to a five-star, five-star would be exciting. Even without a stat boost, this change could make many cards more viable in our teams. EA has been dropping two Evolutions on Fridays, so expect new Evos today.
Futties Objectives
The Futties Cup, released two weeks ago, is expiring today. Ensure your Futties squads are ready, as a full Futties team might be required soon. Icons and heroes would likely count, so build a strong Futties team in advance.
Market Insights
Regarding the market, do not sell Team of the Season (TOTS) cards just yet. The best time to sell TOTS cards is between Sunday and Tuesday. Only consider selling highly meta cards that have already seen significant price increases. For example, Araujo, currently at 80k, might be worth selling if you invested at a lower price.
If we follow the FIFA 23 pattern, many more 99-rated players were added to packs by the end of August. With FC 24, Futties seems to be holding back in delivering players with max overall ratings. The whole Evolutions era still seems to be in play. Hopefully, by the start of next week, we’ll see more icons and players with overpowered stats. For now, Team of the Season cards are still going for 30k+ coins, and many players have managed to get them at minimum prices by bidding during non-peak hours. This strategy might be necessary to make more coins until the end of the season.
