Blockbuster Reveals and Fan-Favorite Sequels

The showcase brought many updates to beloved titles which hyped many gamers and fans! Starting with 33 Immortals, they unveiled the Pride and Temperance Update which introduced two powerful new weapons. They are adding the Crossbows of Pride and Glaive of Temperance alongside systems like Armor Break, Ordeals, and Chamber Objectives.
Another announcement was Darkwood 2, an awaited sequel to survival horror game. This takes place a decade after a mysterious accident in the former Aral seas during the 1990s. It challenges you to scavenge resources by day and shelter from terrors by night in a dying sea environment.
Meanwhile, DayZ surprises as well with its Badlands expansion that features the game’s largest official map to date. This features a desert-themed expansion, set in the Nasdara province, introducing regional weapons, new infected types, and survival mechanics. It will be available across Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, making it accessible among players.
Fresh IPs Making Their Mark
There are several completely new properties introduced in the showcase as well, featuring diverse indie creativity. One of them was Agni: Village of Calamity from Separuh Interactive which blends psychological horror with local folklore. It will follow investigator Agni as she defies orders to explore the cursed remote village.
Meanwhile, Aphelion offers you a cinematic sci-fi action adventure on an uncharted frozen planet. It puts you in charge of astronauts Ariane and Thomas as they navigate the shifting realities and pursue a mysterious entity. On the other hand, Azra Games revealed UnGodly which is a dark fantasy RPG built in the Affinity System.
It combines cinematic storytelling with deep combat mechanics within the broken world of prophecy and power. ID Xbox Showcase also features Over the Hill, celebrating classic off-roading culture as you drive iconic vehicles from the 1960s through the 1980s. You can play this either solo or with friends in multiplayer mode.
Mouse: P.I. For Hire Takes Center Stage
Beyond these exciting announcements, the showcase featured a deep dive into Mouse: P.I. For Hire. It is a much-anticipated black and white FPS inspired by 1930s Rubber Hose animation. This captured the aesthetic of old cartoons that many have grown up with while utilizing distinct style during that era.
You’ll guide detective Jack Pepper in his adventure through Mouseburg, exploring over 10 biomes with 1-4 levels each. The game also features a main hub with Jack’s office, a pub, and a workshop where you can upgrade weapons and interact with NPCs. It boasts an extensive arsenal including classic weapons like pistols, tommy guns, freeze guns, and a conscious gun. However, fans will have to wait until its launch on March 19, 2026.
