Exploring the vast and mysterious Elden Ring can both excite and scare you, especially when you meet Margit, the Fell Omen. But do not be afraid, my fellow Tarnished! You can beat Margit, The Fell Omen with planning, strategy and a dash of perseverance. How to beat Margit? Let’s find out!
Who’s Margit, The Fell Omen in Elden Ring?
Margit is often one of the first big bosses encountered by players in Elden Ring. This makes him a significant hurdle, especially for beginners. His combat style is aggressive, combining raw melee and magical volleys. He moves quickly and requires patience from players as well as strategy.
Margit, The Fell Omen’s Location In Elden Ring
Margit can be found by driving north from Limgrave to Stormhill. But beware, the place is filled with enemies. Begin by walking up from the Stormhill Shack Site of Lost Grace. Traveling on Torrent (the Spirit Steed) will make your journey much easier, as the horse is faster and has some cool combos in combat.
The nearest Site of Lost Grace is found in a hallway inside the castle. But prepare to encounter scores of Soldiers and Nobles standing guard at the gate. Try sneaking up behind them to take minimal damage and backstab for quicker kills. After clearing the camp, head down the hallway and continue on until you find Margit.
Level Up
Margit is not a boss you want to take on under-leveled. Try to be around level 25-30. This is not a rule of extremes, however it’ll significantly improve your likelihood of surviving the fight. Build up your Vigor for more health and your primary damage stat (Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, or Faith) to boost up your damage output.
Gear Up
Proper equipment can make all the difference. Ensure you have a weapon you’re at ease with that has been upgraded several times. Also carry a 100% physical block shield to absorb damage. In case you are a spellcaster, get your most effective spells ready.
Stock Up on Supplies
You’ll need lots of healing items (Flasks of Crimson Tears) and any other buffs you can muster. Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears can make your flasks both more numerous and stronger so don’t waste your time looking for these.
Summons and Multiplayer
If you get stuck, use Spirit Summons or bring a co-op partner into play. It can also help to summon NPCs such as Rogier to make the fight more manageable by distracting Margit from your presence.
Understanding Margit’s Moveset
Margit has a deadly and varied repertoire of attacks. You will have to learn these to achieve success to know how to beat Margit. Listed here are some of his signature moves:
