Evolutions became one of the biggest wins EA ever added to Ultimate Team. This feature allowed players to take cards that would never get a promo card and upgrade them to be usable in Ultimate Team. From upgrading bronze cards to meta versions, Evolutions gave players the ability to customize their squads more than ever before. Some Evolutions, like the Marcus Ente Evo, became legendary, proving that these cards could be more than just fun—they were meta.
Market Bans and Coin Wipes
Market bans and coin wipes became a significant issue in FC 24, particularly related to Evolutions. For the first time ever, players experienced market wipes and coin bans due to the flawed system EA implemented to control these actions. Bronze cards like Kobe Mayu would go extinct, and when players sold these cards at high prices, they faced bans. This system discouraged many players from enjoying the game, as being unable to access the market made it difficult to complete SBCs and trade.
Team of the Year Messi 7% Glitch
The biggest mistake in FC 24 was the Team of the Year Messi 7% glitch from the 86+ Team of the Year Leagues SBC. This glitch caused Messi to appear in player picks at an unintended rate, flooding the market with Team of the Year Messi cards. This glitch tarnished what might be Messi’s last Team of the Year card, making it more infamous than legendary. Players couldn’t believe their luck, only to realize it was a massive oversight by EA.
Live Icons and Black Friday Promo FC 24 Packs
Black Friday in FC 24 brought one of the best promos in recent memory with live and upgrading icons. This year, instead of having base, mid, and prime versions of icons, EA introduced promo icons, which added excitement to the game. The Thunderstruck promo, which included live icons, was a game-changer. The pack weight was generous, and the content was top-notch, making Black Friday a standout event in FC 24.
Trickster Plus Glitch
The Trickster Plus glitch was one of the most outrageous gameplay glitches in Ultimate Team history. This glitch allowed players to attach the ball to their player and run it into the goal, bypassing all defenders. EA took swift action, banning many players who exploited this glitch. However, the sheer absurdity of this glitch will be remembered for years to come.
