Halo Infinite Fall Update Brings Falcon and Vestige Carbine

Three major operations are arriving soon in Halo Infinite. Operation: Shadows starts August 5. Operation: Warpath follows on September 9, honoring 15 years since Halo: Reach. Then, Operation: Haloween II launches on October 7. Each includes a 50-tier battle pass, returning Exchange gear, and seasonal armor.

Developers mentioned the arrival of “valiant heroes” during Warpath. This may signal more Noble Team armor, though nothing is confirmed. Overall, the seasonal plans aim to bring consistent content each month.

Falcon Vehicle Takes Flight in Big Team Battle

The Falcon drops August 5. This aerial support unit brings a chain gun, grenade launcher, and two passenger seats. It plays like a flying Warthog and has already been placed on several Big Team Battle maps.

343 Industries showcased the final Falcon at HCS Salt Lake City. Fans reacted loudly, even overpowering the event commentary. Seat-swapping animations are fully implemented, and the vehicle feels polished. Big Team matches are about to change.

Forge Scripting Adds Teleports and Third-Person Toggle

Forge now includes a radial scripting menu. Players can create teleportation zones between biomes, spawn AI allies, or simulate ordinance drops. These mechanics expand creative possibilities and streamline custom game logic.

One highlight is the first- and third-person camera toggle. Players can switch views mid-game, opening doors for new game types. With these tools, Forge now supports systems often found in full development kits.

Vestige Carbine and Banished Slayer Shake Up the Sandbox

The Vestige Carbine enters multiplayer this season. Forged by the Swords of Sanghelios, this seven-shot headshot weapon fires radioactive projectiles. It features a design that recalls early Halo concepts and feels precise in use.

A new playlist called Banished Slayer debuts alongside the weapon. Additionally, 10 more guns join the weapon bench, including the Gravity Hammer, Mangler, and Plasma Pistol. Players can apply new coatings like a golden hammer skin to further customize their loadouts.

Famished Falcons and Firefight Rework Expand Gameplay

The party mode Famished Falcons features four teams, four Falcons, and one flag. This 4v4v4v4 battle takes place in the sky and promotes chaotic team fights. It joins a refreshed playlist rotation designed to keep gameplay fresh.

Ranked updates include the return of Lattice to the championship pool. Sanctuary joins casual maps but remains outside competitive play. Meanwhile, Firefight now lets players switch between first and third person during matches, thanks to the new Forge toggle.

Sandbox Buffs and Balance Adjustments Arrive

Active Camo now lasts 45 seconds instead of 30. The change allows stealth players to stay hidden longer and make more plays. Developers said this update brings it in line with the Overshield’s value.

The Hydra receives better tracking, improving its usability. The White Ravager overheats faster to reduce its strength. Lastly, the Mutilator gets updated sound effects, replacing its earlier reused audio. These tweaks round out an already packed update.

Halo Infinite’s latest update delivers new content across every major mode. The Falcon, Vestige Carbine, Forge systems, and party playlists all launch August 5. Players can expect even more surprises when the full patch goes live.
