The Bedroom quest in Genshin Impact requires Travelers to correctly rotate four Mountain Paintings inside the House of Hesperides. Completing the puzzle opens a hidden chamber containing several rewards, including a Precious Chest, Remarkable Chest, Cryoculus, and Collectible Painting. Players who previously helped Lazoreva during the VIP Lounge quest may already have received a hint about the room’s secret.
Where to Find the Bedroom Quest
Teleport to Mountain Mansion Front Hall (House of Hesperides Main Floor) and take the southern stairs to the upper floor.
The bedroom containing the Mountain Paintings is located west of the Elegant Snegurochka Statues. Enter the room to find the four paintings required for the puzzle.
If you’re coming directly from Lazoreva after completing the VIP Lounge quest, the route is even shorter. Leave the VIP Lounge, turn right, and enter the nearby bedroom.
How to Solve the Mountain Paintings Puzzle
The objective is to rotate all four Mountain Paintings into their correct orientations. Three can be adjusted by interacting with them from the right position, but the largest painting requires an additional step.
Rotate the Large Mountain Painting
Start with the large Mountain Painting Frame. Trying to rotate it normally won’t work because its mechanism is stuck.
Open the Prime Ice Construct building menu and construct a Cube underneath the large painting. This allows the frame to move and restores it to the required position.
Paimon’s dialogue provides a clue here, pointing out that a mechanism behind the frame appears to be stuck.
Rotate the Remaining Three Paintings
After fixing the large painting, turn around and interact with the small Mountain Painting on the opposite wall. Rotate it until it reaches the correct orientation.
Next, climb partway up the wall to reach the medium Mountain Painting and rotate that one as well.
For the final painting, glide back down and head toward the bookshelf. Climb the bookshelf to reach the small Mountain Painting positioned behind it, then rotate it into place.
Once all four paintings are correctly aligned, the Bedroom puzzle is complete.
Mountain Paintings Puzzle Rewards
Solving the puzzle immediately spawns a Common Chest and opens the entrance to the Bedroom’s Secret Chamber.
Inside the hidden area, you can find:
- Precious Chest
- Remarkable Chest
- Cryoculus
- Collectible Painting
The Precious Chest can also contain a Remnant Incense Guide – Fellfrost Peak. These guides are tied to another secret in the region: collecting three Fellfrost Peak Remnant Incense Guides allows you to unseal the area’s secret chamber.
That chamber offers additional rewards, including Dust of Enlightenment and 5-Star Artifacts, making the Bedroom puzzle useful for more than simply clearing another House of Hesperides objective.
