June 2025 is packed with huge Xbox Game Pass drops, and some are hitting day one. From Zenless Zone Zero to System Shock 2 Remastered, here’s what’s coming.
Zenless Zone Zero Launches June 6 on Game Pass
June kicks off with Zenless Zone Zero, arriving on June 6 alongside its major 2.0.0 update. Hoyoverse’s highly anticipated urban fantasy ARPG features stylish combat, new zones, and expanded mechanics. It supports Xbox Series X|S and cloud, making it one of the most accessible launches of the month.
Space Marine, Rainbow Six, and Mind’s Eye Follow Close Behind
On June 10, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Mastercrafted Edition drops as a Game Pass day-one exclusive. This remaster includes updated visuals, modernized controls, and 8v8 online PvP with crossplay. Also releasing that day is Rainbow Six Siege X, the revamped, free-to-play overhaul featuring the new Dual Front mode and a suite of graphical and physics improvements. Both games come to Game Pass at launch.
Meanwhile, Mind’s Eye is generating mixed reactions. Despite early hype due to its GTA pedigree, the lack of substantial gameplay previews has raised doubts. Its release later this month remains one to watch closely.
Altars, FBC Fire Break, and Lost in Random 2 Arrive Mid-Month
From June 13 onward, Xbox Game Pass is stacked. Altars, a dark sci-fi survival game where players control alternate versions of the protagonist, arrives June 13. FBC Fire Break, a Remedy-developed multiplayer experience without battle passes or login clutter, releases June 17 and could be a standout sleeper hit. That same day, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die also launches, transforming the acclaimed original into a roguelike with a top-down perspective and Queen Alexandra as the new lead.
Tron, Soulstone, and Star Overdrive Bring Indie Energy
Tron: Catalyst brings futuristic, time-bending action to Xbox on June 17. It introduces Exo, a new protagonist navigating time loops and light cycle chases. The same day, Soulstone Survivors, a frantic bullet-hell roguelike with over 350 skills and bosses galore, exits early access and hits consoles for the first time.
Star Overdrive, launching June 19, adds a unique hoverboard-powered open-world indie adventure. Already well-received on Switch and PC, it’s often compared to Zelda with tricks and traversal.
Rematch, TMNT, and Cult Classics Close the Month
Rematch releases June 19, offering 5v5 online football action with no fouls or offsides, a fast-paced alternative to traditional sports sims. Then, TMNT: Splinter Fate, a roguelike beat-em-up with randomized runs and online co-op, arrives June 24. Already praised on Switch, it’s bringing its updated version to Xbox Series consoles via Game Pass.
On June 26, two major final releases land. Against the Storm delivers a roguelike city builder where players manage both creatures and humans while surviving blight storms. One of 2023’s highest-rated PC games now debuts on console.
Also on June 26 is System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. Night Dive Studios rebuilt this legendary FPS using their KEX engine, bringing it to 4K, 120fps, and modern platforms with bug fixes, smoother performance, and quality-of-life updates. It’s a must-play for sci-fi and immersive sim fans alike.
