Fortnite: How to Visit the Wishing Well

The Wishing Well is a unique interactive location in Fortnite that lets players spend Gold Bars to make a wish after restoring the area’s water supply. Before you can use it, however, you’ll need to complete a few simple objectives around Sunken Shores.

Here’s where to find the Wishing Well and how to activate it.

Wishing Well Location

The Wishing Well is located in Sunken Shores.

When you first arrive, the fountain won’t be operational. You’ll need to restore the town’s utilities before it transforms into a usable Wishing Well.

How to Activate the Wishing Well

To unlock the Wishing Well, complete the following steps.

Step 1: Repair the Electrical Panel

Travel to the western side of Sunken Shores.

Look for the fenced-in electrical panel and interact with it to restore power to the area.

Step 2: Repair the Water Tower

Next, head to the water tower on the eastern side of Sunken Shores.

Interact with it to restore the town’s water supply.

Step 3: Make a Wish

Once both repairs are complete, the fountain in the center of Sunken Shores becomes the Wishing Well.

To use it, you’ll need 200 Gold Bars in your inventory. Approach the well and select the “Make a Wish” interaction to activate it.

What You Need

Requirement Details
Location Sunken Shores
Repair Power Activate the electrical panel in the west
Restore Water Repair the water tower in the east
Gold Cost 200 Gold Bars
Interaction Select “Make a Wish” at the restored well

Is the Wishing Well Worth Using?

If you’re already carrying enough Gold Bars, the Wishing Well is worth activating while passing through Sunken Shores. Although it requires a small amount of setup by repairing the electrical panel and water tower, restoring the well unlocks its special interaction, making it a worthwhile stop during your match.

Have your say!
