Additionally, the first look at OG Season 2 has been revealed through a brand-new trailer. This update is officially set to drop on January 31. Due to copyright restrictions, the trailer’s original music was not included, even by Epic Games.
Breaking down the details from the trailer, three key Battle Pass skins have been confirmed: Sparkle Specialist, Cuddle Team Leader, and Black Knight. Black Knight can be seen in the background, with his back bling clearly visible. Sparkle Specialist also showcases a matching back bling that perfectly complements her skin. Although Cuddle Team Leader’s back bling did not receive an up-close reveal, it is present in the trailer. This update is expected to be a major highlight for Fortnite players.
Major Updates Coming to Fortnite
A significant update is also set for Fortnite Ballistic. The new Drum Gun will now be introduced into the mode. Snipers and shotguns have received notable buffs, increasing their effectiveness. Additionally, players will no longer be able to use items during the buy phase, a change that ensures fairer gameplay. New maps, weapons, and gadgets are also in development and will be introduced in the near future. Though initial teasers suggested an immediate new map, it has been confirmed that development is still underway, and it will be available in a few weeks.
OG Season 2 will officially launch with an updated map. Players will see the return of Tilted Towers, an iconic location that has been highly requested. The new OG Pass will also introduce updated versions of classic skins, including the highly sought-after Black Knight, Sparkle Specialist, and Cuddle Team Leader.
Collaborations and Upcoming Content
JJK Wave 2 remains one of the most anticipated collaborations, and speculation suggests that additional crossover events, such as a possible Demon Slayer collaboration, could be coming later this season. Fortnite’s file leaks also indicate the potential introduction of a mini battle pass that could feature exclusive skins and rewards.
Hatsune Miku car cosmetics and an XXXTentacion Icon emote have also been confirmed. Initially, fans speculated that an XXXTentacion skin would arrive with the emote, but this has since been postponed.
Furthermore, Godzilla, which had previously been available at a reduced spawn rate, has now returned to a 100% spawn rate, making it available in every match. However, this will be short-lived as Godzilla is expected to be vaulted soon, so players should take advantage of the opportunity before it is removed.
