Fortnite Update Adds Healing Bubble, Ramen Buff, and More

Fortnite’s latest K-pop Demon Hunters update is live, bringing new mobility tools, healing mechanics, and mythic weapon rotations that shake up gameplay in creative ways. From ramen that boosts stamina to a teleportation mask perfect for outplays, these additions feel tuned for fast, stylish playstyles that reward smart positioning and timing.

Gold Bubble Shield – Healing and Defense in One

The gold bubble shield might look like a regular defensive item, but it adds a twist that changes close-range fights. When deployed, it immediately grants 20 shield and continues to regenerate five shield per second while inside. While its healing speed isn’t as fast as other items, the utility makes it valuable — players can turtle safely, reset health, and counter-push without leaving cover.

This shield’s effect stacks with other healing items. Drinking a big pot or using fizz while standing inside rapidly boosts recovery. It even heals downed teammates while reviving them, making it one of the best tools in squad modes. Throwing a bubble before reviving ensures that teammates come back shielded and ready to fight again.

Ramen Item – Stamina Boost and Healing Combo

The ramen bowl might sound like a small detail, but it’s one of the best new additions in the Fortnite K-pop Demon Hunters update. It heals both health and shield while giving a temporary speed boost. What makes it especially strong is the stamina buff — doubling sprint duration from roughly seven to fifteen seconds.

When combined with the sword’s movement perks, ramen grants nearly unlimited stamina while sprinting, creating a combo that feels unstoppable for rotations or clutch escapes. Beyond the buff, ramen acts as an excellent hybrid healing item that rivals large shield pots but with added movement benefits, turning it into a must-carry for Zero Build and late-game zones.

Teleportation Mask – Tactical Mind Games

The teleportation mask stands out as the update’s most flexible tool. It lets players throw a glowing sphere and warp instantly to its position. The trick is using timing and misdirection — throwing the orb without teleporting right away can bait enemies into poor positions.

Players can pre-place the teleport orb behind enemy cover to create off-angles, reposition instantly after dealing damage, or use it to chase weakened opponents. Combining it with other mobility like Shockwaves allows for unpredictable plays — Shockwave one direction, throw the orb the other way, and teleport to confuse enemies.

The mask even lets players teleport while carrying knocked teammates, providing fast revives and safe retreats. Early bugs tied to fall damage when teleporting appear fixed this season, making the item reliable and rewarding for creative fighters.

OXR Bunkers and Mythic Weapon Rotations

Outside of the K-pop Demon Hunters items, Fortnite also tweaked the bunker system. OXR ranks were removed, but the bunkers still open during the second storm zone. Two random bunkers per match will unlock, each containing mythic weapons like the Wrecker Revolver, Sweeper Shotgun, and the OXR (which currently drops the Wrecker due to a bug).

The bunkers without chains are the ones that will open, letting players plan routes early. These vaults mirror Chapter 5’s customization spots and encourage mid-match rotations for top-tier loot. OXR shops remain active as well, still selling Shockwaves and other mobility gear, while vending machines continue offering standard boons like Agile Aiming and Extended Mag.
