Game Update Adds “True Random” Music System
One of the most-requested updates is finally live: True Random Lobby Music. When players select random lobby music, it will now cycle properly—playing a different track each time rather than looping the same one. This change also includes improvements to the jam track selection menu, now allowing players to filter by specific letter ranges (e.g., A-B, C-D) for easier browsing.
Fortnite Festival also gets an All-Time Leaderboard, now visible across seasons and accessible via the main leaderboard screen or music library.
LEGO Fortnite Expeditions – New PvE Mode Explained
Launching with this update, LEGO Fortnite Expeditions introduces a co-op PvE mode supporting up to four players. Players will fight Daigo’s forces across mission-based maps while managing upgrades and progressing through a shared hub called Supernova Academy, home to characters like Vengeance Jones and Hopeset.
Main Mission Zones:
-
Utopia City – Rescue civilians and build defenses
-
Spire Excavation Site – Investigate enemy digging ops
-
Busted Bridge – Combat-focused encounters
-
Demon’s Domain (coming soon) – Daigo’s final base
Players complete Academy Assignments and contribute to Team Projects, unlocking new buffs and global objectives. Each hero class—Shadow Caller, Hunter, and Rift Rippler—features a unique skill tree and can equip class-specific tools like dual daggers, plasma pistols, or a Warhammer.
Gadgets act as passive stat boosters (e.g., extra health or damage), and three can be equipped at once.
Enemy Types:
-
Spires – Crystal enemies
-
Light/Heavy Demon Guards – Basic melee and ranged foes
-
Cores – Fast lieutenants that summon allies
-
Titans – Giant bosses meant for team fights
-
Daigo – Final boss (coming in a future update)
