Fortnite’s v41.10 update went live on June 25, 2026, and it is one of the largest mid-season patches the game has seen in Chapter 7. The Gone Wild summer event kicked off the same day, and it runs through July 9, 2026, layering in five new Sprites, a double-digit list of unvaulted weapons, the Olivia Rodrigo collaboration, a new mobility item that lets you triple jump, and the start of Fortnite OG Season 9.

If you have not logged in since June 25, there is a lot to catch up on.
Five New Sprites Are Live: What Each One Does
Five Sprites joined the pool in v41.10, and two of them have guaranteed or near-guaranteed ways to spawn every match. Here is the full breakdown:
Fishy Sprite gives you a swim speed boost and a brief movement buff whenever you take damage. You can find it by opening Chests and Supply Drops.
Aura Sprite hands you a Shock Rock charge every time you deal enough damage to trigger it. Also found in Chests and Supply Drops.
Grim Reaper Sprite marks anyone who shoots you for a limited duration, so you always know where fire is coming from. Same chest and supply drop loot pool.
Boss Sprite boosts your maximum Health and Shield. To get it, you need to take down any named Boss currently on the Runners map.
Striker Sprite gives you the Overdrive effect whenever you Mantle, Hurdle, or Wall Scramble. The only way to get it is by scoring a goal at the brand new Soccer Pitch POI, which is also inside an Extraction Zone.
Two more Sprites are confirmed as coming later in the event: an Air Sprite that removes all fall damage, raises your sprint speed, and increases jump height with each level-up, and a Seven Sprite that lets your entire squad see enemy footprints.
How to Level Up Sprites Faster (Campfires, Quack Snacks, and Mastery Rewards)
Epic changed how Sprite XP works in this update. Healing at a Campfire now grants XP directly to the Sprite on your back, making campfires worth stopping at even mid-game. Mastering a Sprite unlocks a free Back Bling, and with v41.10, any styles that were previously locked on already-mastered Sprites have been retroactively unlocked.
Quack Snacks are a new consumable added in this patch. Eating one directly levels up whatever Sprite you are currently wearing. They are a fast track to mastery if you want the Back Bling rewards without grinding multiple matches.
Two New Rift Anomalies Change How You Extract Sprites
Two new Rift Anomalies can now appear as the zone closes:
Safe Extraction creates a temporary friendly zone at the Extraction Site where players cannot shoot each other. This makes it far less punishing to bank a rare Sprite you have been carrying for an entire match.
Sprite Hunt lets you track down Berry Chests in the area for a guaranteed Sprite variant. If this anomaly spawns, it is worth taking the detour.
Shock Rocks Are Live and Triple Jumping Is Now a Thing
The Shock Rock is a new consumable item added in v41.10. Epic’s confirmed description: crush one to perform three mid-air leaps. Each jump gets higher than the previous one. When you land, you break nearby builds in a small radius around your impact point. The item also heals 25 HP on use and can recharge faster during Power Hours.
You can find Shock Rocks on the floor near the Zero Point and inside Chests. For building players, the fact that a landing breaks nearby structures is going to matter in late-game box fights. For zero build players, this is purely a mobility and repositioning tool.
Gone Wild Unvaults: Every Item Back in the Loot Pool
The Gone Wild event runs from June 25 to July 9, 2026, and the following items are confirmed live in the loot pool for the duration:
-
Mythic Goldfish
-
Flare Gun
-
Lawless Stink Rifle
-
Hop Rock Dualies
-
Shield Bubble
-
Bush Bomb and Big Bush Bomb
-
Exotic Slapberry Fizz
Fishing spots across the map have also been updated. Gold fishing variants are active during Week 1 (June 25 to July 1). Starting July 2, they switch to Gummy variants for Week 2. Sprites can now also be found hiding in the water itself, giving you a reason to fish in every single match rather than skipping it.
Olivia Rodrigo Is Now in Fortnite
Olivia Rodrigo officially joined Fortnite on June 25, 2026, with an NPC placed at the pink swing set POI that Epic had been teasing in previous weeks. Talking to the NPC gives you a free Spray and Loading Screen at no cost.
The full Olivia Rodrigo Icon Series Bundle launched in the Item Shop at 8 PM ET on June 25 and is available until July 25, 2026 at 8 PM ET. The bundle costs 3,200 V-Bucks and contains nine items:

The collab ties into her third studio album, released on June 12, 2026. Community reaction to the skin likeness has been mixed, with a portion of fans saying the in-game model does not accurately resemble her.
Supergirl and Lobo Are in the Shop Starting June 26
The Fortnite x Supergirl bundle went live on June 26, 2026, timed with the film’s release. The bundle features Milly Alcock’s Supergirl, the Krypto dog as a sidekick, and a Lobo skin based on Jason Momoa’s portrayal of the character.
According to Epic’s official communication on the bundle, it contains 15 items and is priced at 3,300 V-Bucks.
Fortnite OG Season 9: Neo Tilted Is Back, But John Wick’s Hotel Is Gone
Fortnite OG moved into Chapter 1 Season 9 with this update. Neo Tilted is back as the main POI, giving Tilted Towers its futuristic city-wide makeover. Mega Mall replaces Retail Row. The Season 9 OG loot pool includes: the Drum Shotgun, Semi-Auto Sniper, Tactical Assault Rifle, Combat Shotgun, Burst SMG, Proximity Grenade Launcher, and the Storm Flip.
The new OG Pass contains three outfits: a Spectre-revived Devourer (the Cattus Monster redesigned), a reworked Demi, and a revamped Rox from the original Season 9 with a customizable jacket, mask, and goggles.
The OG John Wick hotel POI from Chapter 1 has been replaced with a generic building, and the Stranger Things Scoops Ahoy POI at Mega Mall has been removed along with its Upside Down portals. Both were collab POIs tied to licenses Epic no longer holds.
OG players who log in now also receive a free pet tied to today’s update.
