Fortnite is gearing up for its biggest crossover yet with The Simpsons season, officially starting on November 1st and running through December 1st. Players will drop into Springfield for a full month of themed content, quests, and two live events — one kicking off the season and another wrapping up Chapter 6.
Springfield Takes Over Fortnite
Epic Games is turning the top-left corner of the island into a massive storyline event featuring Agent Jones and Hope. The build-up involves a Spirit Realm plotline that somehow connects to Star Wars, making for one of Fortnite’s most ambitious crossovers. The event will include its own playlist, countdown, and downtime screen.
Once the new season launches, players can expect to meet iconic Simpsons characters like Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Lisa Simpson, and Bart Simpson, who are rumored to appear as NPC bosses across the map. Potential POIs could include Moe’s Tavern, Krusty Burger, Burns Manor, and the Springfield Power Plant — all rendered in the show’s classic cel-shaded art style.
Skins, Bosses, and Mythics
Early leaks show Kang and Kodos arriving as free challenge rewards with their own themed glider. The leaks also confirm The Simpsons’ characters will feature the cel-shaded aesthetic used for Family Guy and Futurama. Epic seems ready to dive deep into Springfield’s world, including mythic fights against Sideshow Bob or Mr. Burns and possibly replacing in-game Berg gas stations with Kwik-E-Marts.
New cosmetics and vehicle skins are also coming. Expect Homer’s pink sedan, the Duff Party Van, and even references to The Simpsons: Hit & Run with returning Wildwasp Jars and potential vehicle royale LTMs. Leaks suggest the crossover will expand into Rocket League 2, where themed cars may appear ahead of the Fortnite release.
The Simpsons Season Timeline and Events
Throughout November, Epic will push two major updates packed with quests, map changes, and limited-time modes. The season begins with the Spirit Realm live event and ends with the Chapter 6 finale, setting the stage for Chapter 7.
Data miners insist this time that Epic has confirmed companions for release during the Simpsons event window. Assuming Fortnite isn’t trolling again, this would be the perfect way to add Santa’s Little Helper, Snowball, or even Itchy & Scratchy. These could serve as cosmetic companions or even interactive pets during matches.
What Comes After Springfield
After December 1st, Chapter 7 reportedly launches with a Gala-themed battle pass, hinting at a James Bond collaboration. Themed cosmetics like Aston Martin cars and tuxedo outfits are already rumored, alongside the elegant Gala Glimmer outfit teased earlier this year.
Season 2 will shift toward Norse mythology, introducing skins inspired by Fenrir and Ratatoskr and possibly bringing back Kratos from the God of War collaboration. Mid-year in 2026, fans can expect another Marvel season — this time centered on Knull and the Symbiotes — while LEGO Fortnite will add a LEGO Ninjago season with its own battle pass on November 29th.
Epic isn’t stopping there. Fortnite OG will reportedly continue into Chapter 2’s map, reviving classics like Midas, while live concerts are set to return in Chapter 7, featuring rumored artists such as XXXTentacion and Tyler, the Creator. The chapter will also roll out Rank 2.0, a revamped competitive mode promising better progression and fairer matchmaking.
