Fortnite Override now gives players a much bigger incentive to Master their Sprites thanks to a new Mastery reward track. Added to the Override tab in a recent update, the progression system offers 14 rewards for Mastering Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4, including XP, Sprite Dust, Portable Extractors, Cheat Code Locators, and other useful Gizmos.
Most Sprites are Mastered by reaching Level 5 and extracting them, although Klombo and Crown Sprites have different progression requirements. Here’s every reward on the track and how to increase your Mastery count.
All Fortnite Sprite Mastery Rewards
There are currently 14 Sprite Mastery rewards available. You unlock one reward for each Sprite you Master, up to a total of 14.
| Sprites Mastered | Mastery Reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | 40,000 XP |
| 2 | 3 Cheat Code Locators |
| 3 | 5,000 Sprite Dust |
| 4 | 4 Spicy Tacos |
| 5 | 40,000 XP |
| 6 | 5,000 Sprite Dust |
| 7 | 2 Portable Extractors |
| 8 | 3 Extraction Accelerators |
| 9 | 40,000 XP |
| 10 | 3 Cheat Code Locators |
| 11 | 5,000 Sprite Dust |
| 12 | 2 Portable Extractors |
| 13 | 40,000 XP |
| 14 | 2 Llama Supply Drops |
Completing the entire track awards 160,000 XP and 15,000 Sprite Dust, alongside the various Gizmos and consumables.
Portable Extractors are particularly useful for continued Sprite progression, while Cheat Code Locators can make it easier to track down more resources during subsequent matches.
How to Master Sprites in Fortnite Override
For most Sprites, the Mastery process has two steps:
- Raise the Sprite to Level 5.
- Extract the Level 5 Sprite.
Once the extraction is complete, that Sprite counts toward your Mastery track.
Regular Sprites gain Sprite XP through several common activities. You can level them by opening containers, opening Cheat Codes, getting eliminations, and extracting other Sprites.
Eliminations and frequent looting make it possible to build Sprite XP naturally while playing, but not every Sprite follows these standard leveling rules.
How to Master Klombo Sprites
Klombo Sprites can only gain levels through consumables, so opening containers and getting eliminations won’t progress them in the same way as regular Sprites.
A reliable strategy is to intentionally lose health and then repeatedly use healing consumables. The more healing you can perform, the more opportunities you have to earn the necessary Sprite XP.
One option is to spend time in the Storm, take damage, and then heal yourself.
Another is to visit the Stone Sanctum brazier, use it to repeatedly take damage, and restore your health with consumables afterward.
Continue this process until your Klombo Sprite reaches the required level, then extract it to complete its Mastery.
How to Master Crown Sprites
Crown Sprites have the most unusual Mastery requirement.
Rather than leveling them to Level 5 through Sprite XP, you must win a match while the Crown Sprite is equipped.
Crown Sprite variants are also unlocked in a specific sequence:
Base → Cheat Master → Gold → Loot Hacker
Mastering one version gives you access to the next stage, meaning you need to work through the variants in order rather than jumping directly to the later versions.
For Crown Sprites, surviving to the end of a match is therefore more important than maximizing Sprite XP.
Fastest Way to Complete the Sprite Mastery Track
Because each Mastered Sprite advances the reward track by one step, you’ll want to focus on Sprites whose Mastery requirements fit naturally into your matches.
For standard Sprites, prioritize opening containers and Cheat Codes while looking for eliminations, then extract the Sprite after reaching Level 5. Klombo Sprites require a more deliberate healing strategy, while Crown Sprites should be saved for matches where you’re focused on securing a Victory Royale.
Reaching all 14 Mastery milestones gives you the full set of rewards, including four 40,000 XP drops, 15,000 Sprite Dust, four Portable Extractors, six Cheat Code Locators, three Extraction Accelerators, four Spicy Tacos, and two Llama Supply Drops.
