A new Fortnite leak suggests Epic Games is preparing another collaboration with DC Comics, this time centered around a summer-themed cosmetic collection. The rumored crossover includes new character skins, a Batdog Sidekick, Batman-themed Sprites, and additional DC-inspired content.
As with all leaks, none of the information has been officially confirmed by Epic Games.
Four Summer DC Skins Reportedly on the Way
According to a report from NotPaloIntel, citing prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the collaboration will introduce new summer outfits for four iconic DC characters:
- Batman
- Catwoman
- Harley Quinn
- Poison Ivy
Promotional artwork shared by the leakers shows each character wearing beach-themed attire, although the full cosmetic details have not yet been revealed.
The image reportedly originated from the Nintendo eShop, suggesting it may have been uploaded ahead of schedule.
Batdog, Batman Sprites, and a New Batmobile
The leaked promotional image also hints at several additional DC-themed additions beyond character skins.
These reportedly include:
- A Batdog companion that could debut as a new Sidekick.
- Batman-themed Sprites.
- A new Batmobile vehicle.
The Batman Sprites shown in the leak feature multiple cosmetic variants, including Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil styles. Whether more versions will be available remains unknown.
It’s also unclear how players would obtain the Sprites, as Epic Games has not announced whether they would function like standard collectibles or rarer seasonal spawns.
Possible Release Window
While Epic Games has not confirmed the collaboration, the timing of the leak suggests the cosmetics could arrive during Chapter 7 Season 3.
Based on Fortnite’s usual update schedule, some leakers speculate the crossover could appear as early as July 16, though no release date has been officially announced.
Fortnite Continues Adding Major Collaborations
The rumored DC crossover follows several recent collaborations in Fortnite, including cosmetics based on Supergirl and Lobo, along with Krypto the Superdog as a Sidekick.
Chapter 7 Season 3 has also introduced crossover content featuring Olivia Rodrigo, while Epic Games has confirmed an upcoming collaboration with Neopets. Separate leaks have additionally pointed to future partnerships involving Rambo and more Spider-Man content.
For now, players should treat the rumored DC collaboration as unofficial until Epic Games provides an official announcement. If the leak proves accurate, Fortnite’s lineup of DC cosmetics could soon expand with another wave of summer-inspired outfits and themed gameplay items.
