Final FC 24 Live Upgrades, 92+ Icon SBC, and More – EA FC 24 FUT Guide

With the Euros and Copa America over, the final set of upgrades has come through. Pedri, Carvajal, Ferran Torres, and a few others have peaked with a 98 rating. Apart from these FC 24 upgrades, new SBCs have dropped in as well, with the new 92+ Icon SBC being rated a high-value SBC. We’ll be covering all these changes in this post, along with the best SBCs to do for this week.

New Store Packs and FC 24 Upgrades

The grand finals for a Premium Gold player pack SBC were available, a cheap option for those interested. The store introduced a 750,000 coin pack, guaranteeing all promo cards, which turned out to be a scam. Although it seemed promising, it mostly contained fodder. The 650k pack offers better value, providing more fodder and a chance at special cards. The Icon Player Pick was the major content yesterday, completed twice due to the availability of top-tier icons like R9, Dino, Zizou, Vieira, Carlos, Cruyff, Hullet, and Maldini. Big pulls included Fernando Torres and multiple Maldinis. This SBC is worth trying, despite its expense, as it includes all top-tier icons.

Icon Player Pick Value

Surprisingly, this Icon Player Pick is heavily downvoted despite its value. Costing around 370,000 coins, similar to Rudiger, it offers a chase for top-tier icons. This is the first worthwhile Icon Player Pick in a long time. Previous picks have been disappointing, but this one brings back the excitement. Crafting through the week is recommended, using the 85×5 SBC, 82+ pick, and 83+ TOTW for high-rated fodder. The 750k pack and Icon picks were opened on the second channel, showcasing their value. The SBC’s impact is evident, with 88s rising from 11k to 13k and 89s from 22k to 27-28k.

FC 24 Market Impact after the Upgrades

Market prices dropped due to the Icon SBC and the store pack. For example, Kevin De Bruyne’s price fell from 1.4-1.5 million coins to around 1.1 million coins. Similarly, Gakpo dropped from over 500k to around 480k. Jude Bellingham and other cards also saw significant drops. These cards are not live, so their prices are affected by market trends and not game outcomes. With footies upcoming, avoiding market purchases is advised, especially since the market tends to perform poorly on Mondays.

Rating Winners and Live Upgrades

Spain and Argentina won the Euros and Copa America, respectively. Upgrades are incoming for their players. Cole Palmer received a significant upgrade, becoming a 98-rated card. Spain’s Pedri, Carvajal, Jonathan David, Ferran Torres, and others also received upgrades. Argentine players like Julian Alvarez and Leandro Martinez saw price spikes. SBCs like Martinez are rewarding for those who completed them.

EA FC 24 is reaching its end-game phase, and players can expect more powerful players coming into packs soon. The FUTTIES promo was initially hinted to be the final promo for this season, but a pre-season promo for EA 25 might be on the horizon. FIFA 23 ended with a similar promo, and EA FC 24 might follow a similar route. For now, make sure to grind out the Icon SBC, as many players have unpacked legendary players like the main man Pele himself.

Have your say!
