EA is so focused on FC 25, which is only a few weeks away, that they forgot about Futties and FC 24. Missing players have reappeared in the game, and a pack SBC that should have dropped yesterday is now in the code. It seems like EA forgot about it yesterday, adding to the comedic errors they’ve made recently. There’s a lot to discuss about investing as well, particularly concerning Team of the Season cards, which have dropped in price. Additionally, there will be a little discussion about Futties Team 3 at the end. Let’s get into the content for the week.
FC 24 SBC Section Stale?
The best SBC yesterday was already in the game and had refreshed. The only new FC 24 SBC was Raheem Sterling. Sterling was missing but was added to FutBin and Concepts on Friday with the drop of Futties Team Two. It’s not an exceptional SBC like others we’ve seen. Sterling has technical plus press, proven quickstep trickeries, five-star four-star, which is not bad. His stats are decent, and he can play on the left, right-wing, and striker positions.
However, he lacks in composure, strength, and aggression, typical for a Sterling card. The three squads, 87, 88, and 89, bring him to a total of 184,000 coins, which is pricey compared to a card like Openda. Sterling is not that appealing, and the SBC itself is downvoted due to its price and the card not being meta. It’s a fun one if you want to do it, but nothing extraordinary. Sterling is a popular player, so Chelsea and English fans might be interested.
Missing FC 24 Futties SBC Players
On a day when Sterling returns, another player goes missing. If you’re looking at FutBin, you’ll see Bastian Schweinsteiger. He’s in the game code but is nowhere to be obtained, similar to Sterling and Carvalho from last Friday. This has happened three times in the past week. EA might be focusing too much on FC 25, leading to these mistakes. When Schweinsteiger’s SBC or objective drops, it might not be worth doing. Schweinsteiger hasn’t had a special card in a while, so it could be an emotional SBC for some. The best thing about Futties is getting new cards and SBCs every day. If one resonates with you, do the SBC.
Kristen Hamilton was the objective player dropped yesterday. This card, with 99 pace, is a reference to Lewis Hamilton. It’s free 94-rated fodder or a nice card for NWSL collectors. It requires winning four matches with three USA players. The icon player pick SBC from Sunday also refreshed yesterday. Although the weight seemed bad, it’s still worth doing for a chance at something high tier. Many people completed it yesterday, and it will refresh again on Saturday.
Investing in TOTS Cards
The 90-plus tradable TOTS upgrade and the 81-plus tradable Team of the Week dropped again. Investing in TOTS cards is a good idea. They dropped to around 30,000 coins, even lower than last week. TOTS cards are likely to rise in value as they are needed for SBCs. Investing in cheaper TOTS Moments at 22-23k is also a good strategy. These cards should rise to 30-35k by Sunday or Monday.
Fodder has increased in value. Investing in 85s on bid during Rivals rewards is a good move. Prices tend to drop with Rivals rewards and then rise again. Investing in 85s to 88s today and selling around the content drop is a profitable strategy. However, don’t hold onto these too long as new packs on the weekend might cause prices to drop again.
