Everything You Need to Know About TFT Set 14

The upcoming installment for TFT, Set 14: Cyber City, standing at the ready to beat another round for change, dares to make itself known with cyberpunk themes. This set introduces new champions, traits, and a whole new language of mechanics in the HACK system, which, in itself, promises to reform the classical game mechanics. Learn how to outplay your opponents during this excitement-filled era of Teamfight Tactics!

New Set Mechanics

Set 14 of TFT known as Cyber City has the introducing feature called ‘Hacks.’ These Hacks infiltrate almost all game systems from Augments, Shops, and Carousels to Loot Orbs.

For instance, one particular Hack is called “Black Market Augments,” which would allow players to pick Augments from previous sets. Or it may be in “1v2 Augment Rounds,” where players choose one very strong Augment or two weak ones. Hacked Carousels may include surprises like Extra Items or Sentinel Golems with emblems, and Hacked Loot Orbs include unstable item components changing every other round. All in all, this makes gaming versatile with very different gaming experiences.

Latest Addition to the Champion Roster

  • Highlighted Champions in Cyber City

Kobuko gains another HP bar at low health, doing more damage now. Meanwhile, Zeri dashes rapidly and leaves echoes behind to attack enemies, providing good mobility and constant damage. And last but not least, Elise fires lasers, adding a futuristic touch to her abilities.

  • Special Units

Garen and Zac are brought in as monstrous units with special challenges. Garen’s huge durability and damage potential make him a true frontline champion capable of withstanding sufficient damage. Zac’s shapeshifting and healing qualities can combine different ways of supporting his allies.

  • Return of the ANIMA SQUAD

The ANIMA SQUAD makes a comeback along with champions like Seraphine, Sylas, Illaoi, and Vayne to share in that origin.
