Experience the drama of any team’s real-world season, picking up from where a team or player has left off that week. Deal with related league standings, fixtures, injuries, and transfers, or start from a special snapshot moment—a created starting point based on a newsworthy situation at a specific club.
Updates Across Manager Mode
FC IQ drives loads of new updates in manager mode through team tactics and player roles. Mainly, player roles add a dimension to tactics beyond player positions and drive success more than ever in Career, on and off the pitch. Picking the right player roles is a key factor across player development, staffing, scouting, training, and coaching, helping to fuel and influence player and squad cohesion.
An update to press conferences changes how these work to make them more dynamic. Reporters will ask questions specific to your tactical choices, players, and their roles. Your answers affect the updated morale system, requiring managers to find the right balance between critique and praise.
FC 25 Career Mode Expanded Youth Academy
The Youth Academy is expanded, allowing you to send youth scouts to more countries. Once you’ve identified the next big talent, develop their skills with Rush 5v5 matches integrated into the Youth Academy. By playing in Rush matches, managers can actively boost youth development over the course of three-match tournaments. Win the final, earn the maximum boost, and your next rising star will be closer to achieving their first-team dream. Watch as your youth squad players physically grow up over the years.
Career Gameplay Simulation Settings
A long-requested feature in Career gameplay simulation settings is added. With it enabled, teams will play a more deliberate style of play, closer to what you’d see in a real-world football match. A D-Sim setting changes aspects of the AI’s play from one game to the next. Put existing icons in any team, performing alongside today’s players, unlocking new opportunities to evolve Career.
Expanded Storylines
In FC 25career mode, storylines have expanded, allowing more flexibility in setting up player career stories. Choose a rags-to-riches story, follow a parent, or return from injury; each choice impacts gameplay and social media. The top five women’s leagues enter both manager and player careers. Managers can move freely between managing men’s and women’s teams. In Player Career, players can play for any of these top clubs.
