We are just a few hours away from the end of the summer player break in the CS:GO competitive scene. And there is no better way to come back than with a top-level tournament with the best teams in the world, the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023.
In addition to seeing several teams’ new lineups in this tournament, we will see the 12 BLAST partner organizations battle it out for a share of the $177,498 prize pool. In addition, the most important thing for the teams will be the qualification for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, in which a juicy prize pool of $425,000 will be distributed.
There is no doubt that we will have emotions from start to finish, as each team will want to start on the right foot in the second half of 2023.
BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 | Details
The BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 brings together the 12 teams associated with BLAST in a tournament that will last ten days and is undoubtedly ideal for the start of the second half of the season. The tournament will kick off next Thursday, July 13, 2023, and will be played, as always, in a 100% LAN environment at the BLAST studios in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As is BLAST’s custom in its tournaments, the format used in this BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023 will be GSL in the Group Stage. As a result, we will have three groups of four teams where all matches are best-of-three (BO3). The winners of each group qualify directly for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, while the rest of the teams will play the qualification in the Play-In Phase.
In the Play-In Phase, the teams will face each other in a single elimination format, where the Round 1 matches will be between the teams that finish in 3rd and 4th place in each group. Then, the team that finishes in second place in each group will face the winners of Round 1 to determine the last three teams to qualify for the Fall Finals.
Teams and Groups
As mentioned, the BLAST Premier Fall Groups will have the participation of the 12 teams associated with BLAST, so all of them will arrive with direct invitations.
Group A

- Evil Geniuses
- NiP
- Complexity Gaming
Group B

- Astralis
Group C

Undoubtedly, everything points to Team Vitality, Heroic, G2 Esports, and the new lineup of NaVi, which are called to be protagonists in this tournament. However, we cannot rule out the rest of the teams that have substantially changed their lineups. In addition, it is worth mentioning that, of the 12 participating teams, nine made changes in their lineups.
9 out of the 12 teams at Fall Groups feature new players in their team after an insane rostermania season! 🤯
With all this change there will surely be some surprises, but which team are you most looking forward to seeing in two days time?
