Black Ops 7 Zombies has grown to 13 round-based maps, split between six full Standard maps and seven smaller Survival experiences. Across them, players can tackle Main Quest Easter Eggs, hunt Cursed Mode Relics, unlock Wonder Weapons, chase high rounds, or use Survival maps to grind XP and camos. Here’s the complete Black Ops 7 Zombies map lineup and what each location offers.

The six Standard maps contain the main Zombies storyline and its major Easter Egg quests. Survival maps instead strip the experience down to smaller arenas built around straightforward round-based combat.
Ashes of the Damned
Ashes of the Damned launched alongside Black Ops 7 and remains the largest Standard Zombies map in the game.
Its major locations are separated by dangerous stretches of fog populated by super sprinters, making traversal a significant part of each match. Players aren’t forced to make every journey on foot, however. Ol’ Tessie serves as a drivable vehicle and can be upgraded as a run progresses.
The map introduces enemies such as Zursa Bears and Ravagers, while the Necromancer serves as its signature Wonder Weapon. Ashes of the Damned also features a full Main Quest Easter Egg and its own collection of Cursed Mode Relics.
Astra Malorum
Added in Season 1, Astra Malorum moves the Zombies crew far beyond Earth to an observatory positioned within Saturn’s rings.
Compared with the sprawling Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum puts more emphasis on close-range encounters. O.S.C.A.R. provides an additional threat by relentlessly pursuing players through the map.
The LGM-1 is Astra Malorum’s Wonder Weapon, while one of its more unusual mechanics allows players to travel to Mars. The map includes a complete Easter Egg storyline as well as several Relics that can be unlocked for Cursed Mode.
Paradox Junction
Paradox Junction arrived with Season 2 Reloaded and represents Black Ops 7’s take on the classic Nuketown Zombies concept.
It follows Nuketown Zombies and Alpha Omega as another undead interpretation of the iconic multiplayer location, while bringing back another recognizable piece of Zombies history: the Blundergat Wonder Weapon.
Shock Mimics are among the map’s main special enemies, adding another complication to its compact combat spaces. Like the other Standard maps, Paradox Junction includes a Main Quest and additional Cursed Relics to discover.
Totenreich
Season 3 Reloaded introduced Totenreich, sending the crew from Paradox Junction into a fishing town with a destructive connection to Richtofen.
Players must contend with Necropincers and blizzards capable of slowing movement. Totenreich also brings back the enormous robots associated with Origins, giving the location another link to Zombies history.
Its signature Wonder Weapon is the Jotunn Star, which becomes particularly useful when dealing with the map’s undead population and progressing through the Main Quest to free Dravakar.
Totenreich also contains its own Cursed Mode Relics, ranging from relatively manageable restrictions to modifiers designed for much more demanding runs.
Kowakujo
Kowakujo, introduced in Season 4 Reloaded, takes place around the castle of Takeo Masaki’s father, the Shogun.
The setting is dominated by volcanic destruction, with magma cutting through the Japanese-inspired environment as zombies and Oni overwhelm the area. Nyxara the dragon also plays an important role in the map’s encounters.
Kowakujo’s standout weapon is the Nekomancer, an unusual but extremely powerful Wonder Weapon built around a supernatural cat capable of firing explosive laser-like hairballs.
Alongside its Main Quest, Kowakujo includes another set of Cursed Relics for players pursuing Black Ops 7 Zombies’ optional challenge system.
Rex Infernus
Season 5 Reloaded completes the Standard map lineup with Rex Infernus, which takes the crew directly into the Dark Aether for the confrontation with the Warden.
Unlike some of the larger earlier maps, Rex Infernus uses a circular structure centered around the Nexus Forge and Pack-a-Punch. Each Shadowsmith has a corresponding temple that must be cleansed as players work through the location.
Spiders are one of its defining threats. Deathspinners and Web Mothers can cover players in webs, making movement considerably more difficult during hectic rounds.
The Warden’s Blight is Rex Infernus’ signature Wonder Weapon and provides a powerful option against these enemies. The map also features the final Main Quest of the Black Ops 7 Zombies storyline.
Unlike the previous Standard maps, however, Rex Infernus does not add any new Cursed Mode Relics.
All Black Ops 7 Zombies Survival Maps
Black Ops 7 currently has seven Survival maps:
- Vandorn Farm
- Exit 115
- Zarya Cosmodrome
- Mars
- Ashwood
- Nuked
- Eidskallen Lighthouse
Rather than offering the full scale and quest structure of Standard maps, Survival takes smaller sections of existing environments and turns them into contained round-based arenas.
There are no full Main Quest Easter Eggs to worry about. The objective is simply to survive increasingly difficult waves for as long as possible.
That makes Survival particularly useful for weapon camo challenges and XP farming, since players can focus on kills rather than navigating a larger map or completing complicated objectives.
There are still incentives for reaching higher rounds. Survival maps provide unique rewards at Rounds 10, 25, and 50, giving players additional milestones beyond simply setting a personal high-round record.
Standard or Survival: Which Black Ops 7 Zombies Maps Should You Play?
Players looking for the complete Black Ops 7 Zombies experience should focus on the six Standard maps. They contain the Main Quests, distinctive Wonder Weapons, special enemies, larger environments, and—apart from Rex Infernus—the Cursed Relics used to customize Cursed Mode runs.
Survival is the better choice when efficiency matters more than exploration. Its smaller arenas make it easier to concentrate on killing zombies, leveling weapons, earning XP, and completing camo objectives.
With Ashes of the Damned through Rex Infernus covering the primary storyline and seven Survival arenas offering a faster alternative, Black Ops 7 Zombies now has 13 maps catering to everything from Easter Egg hunting to straightforward high-round runs.
