Cleansing Dravakar’s Sanctuary is one of the more complicated steps in the Rex Infernus main quest in Black Ops 7 Zombies. You’ll need to obtain the Blacksmith’s Hammer, ignite it with Astral Flame, sacrifice a zombie to the Titan, solve a laser puzzle, and finally use the weather itself to cleanse the temple.
There are plenty of opportunities to get stuck along the way, especially during the laser puzzle. Here’s the complete Dravakar Sanctuary solution from start to finish.
How to Start the Dravakar Temple Cleansing
Before working on Dravakar’s individual puzzles, you need to direct the Nexus Forge’s blue beam toward Dravakar.
Head to the Nexus Forge and interact with the three cranks previously unlocked using the Void Talon, the upgraded version of the Void Claw.
Rotate the cranks until the blue laser from the Nexus Forge fires directly into Dravakar’s mouth.
Once the beam is correctly aligned, you can move on to finding the Blacksmith’s Hammer.
How to Get the Blacksmith’s Hammer
First, visit The Arsenal and equip the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod on one of your weapons.
Next, obtain a Void Claw and grapple your way into Dravakar Inner Sanctum. This is the same area containing the anvil associated with obtaining the Warden’s Blight Wonder Weapon.
Look around the room and you’ll find four shields, one positioned in each corner.
You need to break these shields using Shatter Blast:
- Lure a zombie directly in front of one of the shields.
- Shoot and kill the zombie while it’s positioned by the shield.
- Make sure the kill triggers Shatter Blast.
- The resulting explosion should destroy the shield.
- Repeat the process until you find the Blacksmith’s Hammer.
Only one of the four shields contains the Hammer, so you may need to destroy several before finding it.
Pick up the Blacksmith’s Hammer once it’s revealed.
How to Ignite the Blacksmith’s Hammer
Take the Hammer down to Dravakar’s Main Chamber and place it inside the stone brazier.
Now return to the Nexus Forge.
Use the Void Claw to grab one of the purple orbs and pull it into the Pack-a-Punch machine. You’ll then need to adjust the Nexus Forge cranks so that the braziers there contain Astral Flame.
Collect an Astral Flame and return to Dravakar’s Main Chamber.
Throw the Astral Flame at the brazier containing the Blacksmith’s Hammer. The brazier should remain burning once you’ve completed this correctly.
A blue mist will then transfer into a zombie, marking it for the next part of the quest.
How to Complete the Titan Zombie Offering
Do not kill the zombie affected by the blue mist.
Instead, lead it toward Caltheris Passage, where you’ll find the Titan Trap.
Wait until the marked zombie is standing in the middle of the trap area, then purchase the Titan Trap.
The zombie should run toward the Titan’s gauntlet before being crushed.
You’ll know the sacrifice worked when you hear dialogue from Dravakar. Once that happens, return to Dravakar’s Main Chamber for the laser puzzle.
Dravakar Laser Beam Dial Puzzle Solution
Inside Dravakar’s Main Chamber, look near the central pillar for a stone tablet embedded in the floor.
Interact with it, then stand on the stone plate and repeatedly use Armor Plates. Continue replating until the stone structure rises and reveals a hidden dial.
The dial now needs to be lifted into position.
Use a charged Warden’s Blight shot on it to send the mechanism into the air.
Once raised, the dial will produce a laser beam. Your goal is to point that beam toward the upper southeastern wall of Dravakar’s Main Chamber.
Shoot the center ring of the dial to rotate it in smaller increments. Make careful adjustments until the laser is aimed at the correct section of the southeast wall.
How to Break the Wall With Zombie Souls
Getting the laser into position isn’t enough. You now need to power it using zombies.
Kill zombies directly beneath the floating dial. Their souls should rise into the mechanism and transfer into the energy beam.
Continue feeding zombie souls into the laser.
If you’ve aimed the beam correctly, the targeted section of wall will begin cracking. Keep killing zombies beneath the dial until the wall finally breaks apart.
Behind it, you’ll find a stone head.
Shoot the stone head to release four Shadow Souls into Dravakar’s Main Chamber.
How to Kill the Four Shadow Souls
All four Shadow Souls must be eliminated before you can continue.
They are vulnerable to Light Mend and Warden’s Blight, making either a good choice for quickly dealing with them.
The Shadow Souls can move around the chamber and aren’t always immediately obvious. Use your minimap to help track their positions and listen for their distinctive audio cues if you’re having trouble locating the last one.
Once you’ve killed all four Shadow Souls, shoot the exposed stone statue again and destroy it.
That unlocks the final stage of Dravakar’s cleansing ritual.
How to Cleanse Dravakar’s Temple
Head outside toward Dravakar Entrance and grab another Void Claw.
Find a purple orb and use the grapple to reposition it directly underneath Dravakar’s head.
Once the orb is correctly positioned, shoot it with a charged Warden’s Blight attack. The orb should rise toward Dravakar, causing his eyes to begin glowing.
There’s one final requirement: it needs to be raining.
If rain is already falling, you can proceed immediately. Otherwise, travel to Veytharion Sanctuary and return to the location where you previously completed the blocks puzzle.
Interact with the blue well there. This will cause rain to begin during the following round.
Once the weather changes, return to the Nexus Forge and obtain another Astral Flame.
Take the flame back to Dravakar and throw the resulting fireball directly at his forehead. Aim carefully, as the hit needs to connect with the correct spot.
When performed correctly, lightning will strike Dravakar, completing the ritual and cleansing the temple.
Dravakar’s Sanctuary Steps in Order
The entire process can be condensed into the following sequence:
- Direct the Nexus Forge beam into Dravakar’s mouth.
- Equip Shatter Blast.
- Destroy the four shields in Dravakar Inner Sanctum until you find the Blacksmith’s Hammer.
- Place the Hammer in the Main Chamber brazier.
- Generate Astral Flame at the Nexus Forge.
- Ignite the Hammer’s brazier.
- Lead the blue-mist zombie to Caltheris Passage.
- Sacrifice it using the Titan Trap.
- Reveal and raise the hidden laser dial in Dravakar’s Main Chamber.
- Aim the beam toward the upper southeast wall.
- Kill zombies beneath the dial to charge the laser.
- Shoot the revealed stone head.
- Kill all four Shadow Souls.
- Destroy the stone statue.
- Position a purple orb beneath Dravakar’s head.
- Hit the orb with a charged Warden’s Blight shot.
- Trigger rain through Veytharion Sanctuary if necessary.
- Obtain Astral Flame and hit Dravakar’s forehead.
A successful hit during the rain triggers the lightning strike and cleanses Dravakar’s Sanctuary, allowing you to continue progressing through the Rex Infernus main quest.
