Arc Raiders has finally confirmed its biggest pre-launch event, giving players one more chance to jump into the game before its October 30 release. The newly announced Arc Raiders server slam is set for October 17–19, open to all platforms with no purchase required. Alongside this, Embark has also shared full pre-order details, marking the shift into launch mode for one of their biggest projects yet.
Server Slam Dates and Content
The server slam will run for 72 hours, letting anyone on Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S download and play. Access rolls out slowly on day one to help manage server load, but no codes are needed—everyone can join.
Gameplay will be limited to the Dam Battlegrounds map, first seen in the tech test, with a focus on scavenging, combat, crafting, and progression. While progress won’t carry over to launch, participants will unlock an exclusive commemorative backpack after purchasing the full game.
Embark’s goal is twofold: to stress test servers ahead of launch and to let more players experience Arc Raiders’ core gameplay. With no NDA restrictions, streaming and content creation will be allowed throughout the event.
Pre-Order Bonuses and Editions
Arc Raiders is confirmed as a paid release rather than free-to-play, priced at $40 for the Standard Edition and $60 for the Deluxe Edition. Both editions include the full game plus a set of pre-purchase bonuses.
-
Standard Edition: Hatchling backpack, Golden Rubber Duck backpack charm
-
Deluxe Edition: Includes all Standard bonuses plus Guitary outfit, Salvaging backpack, Spaceship souvenir attachment, Valente legendary outfit, Pathfinder backpack, Blanket Roll attachment, Lip Scarf face cosmetic, Cowboy Scrappy skin, Finger Guns emote, and 2400 Raider Tokens
The developer has clarified that Raider Tokens are premium currency used for in-game cosmetics and battle passes. The 2400 tokens included with the Deluxe Edition can be spent right away on customization items or saved to unlock a future battle pass. This makes the Deluxe package not just about cosmetics at launch but also about giving players flexibility for upcoming seasonal content.
Deluxe buyers also get early access to their cosmetics during the server slam, letting them preview gear before launch.
Marketing and Embark’s Timeline
The server slam trailer marked the start of Arc Raiders’ final marketing push. Unlike past teasers focused on worldbuilding or sound design, this trailer leaned cinematic, introducing light lore while revealing pre-order details. With qualifiers for The Finals now wrapped, Embark’s schedule is turning toward Arc Raiders in full.
Expect more trailers and announcements to follow, as the server slam is designed to build momentum heading into the October 30 launch window.
The Fall Release Rush
The Arc Raiders timeline also collides with other major shooters. Battlefield 6 releases just before the server slam, followed by rumors of a battle royale mode. Then comes Arc Raiders’ launch, only to be followed weeks later by Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Amid this stacked release calendar, Arc Raiders stands out by offering players a no-strings-attached chance to play ahead of launch. The server slam could be the deciding factor for many on the fence about purchasing.
