ARC Raiders Patchwork Raider Outfit – How to Get COMPLETE Guide

Summary

    • Get Patchwork Raider Outfit as an exclusive cosmetic reward earned through completing the Expedition Project,
    • Requires resetting your character progress and reaching level 20 while building the caravan and opt in during an active Expedition window.
    • Although the reset is optional, it grants permanent rewards such as the outfit, bonus skill points, increased stash space, and temporary account buffs.

The popular extraction shooter, ARC Raiders, is coming up with their second Expedition Project window soon! This is your chance to get the Patchwork Raider Outfit as one of the most exclusive items available in the game. So, here’s where to get the Patchwork Raider Outfit in ARC Raiders.

What is the Patchwork Raider Outfit?

The Patchwork Raider Outfit offers a complete full-body cosmetic you can get from participating in an Expedition. This outfit functions as a single unified look, including headgear and cannot be combined with items from other sets. Many players refer to Patchwork as a “tutorial outfit” for resembling the gear worn during the game’s opening chapter.

Requirements to Unlock Patchwork Raider

Before obtaining the Patchwork Raider outfit, players have to meet specific criteria through the Expedition Project system. These are the following requirements:

    • Must reach at least character level 20.
    • Complete the Caravan construction within the Expedition Project chain in Speranza.
    • Opt in to depart during an active Expedition Window.

The first window ran from December 17 to December 22, 2025, while the second is arriving on February 22, 2026. You must register while the window remains open, though all participating Raiders depart simultaneously once it closes. Also, you don’t need to hit any stash value just to receive the outfit itself.

How the Expedition Project Reset Works

This Expedition Project mainly functions as an optional prestige system which resets your character progression. Choosing to depart will lead to losing your character level, stash contents, workshop progress, skill tree allocations, crafting abilities, and blueprints. Meaning, you have to start a new progression yet this is entirely voluntary.

Although it enforces a complete reset, it still provides you with several advantages to soften the impact. Your new Raider will receive the exclusive Patchwork Raider outfit, Scrappy Janitor cap, an Expeditions Indicator icon, and more. Additionally, you’ll also get temporary account buffs of 10% repair discount, 6% increase materials from Scrappy deliveries and 5% XP boost.

Maximizing Your Expedition Rewards

Plan carefully to see which you can carry forward to your next playthrough. You’ll only get calculation of your stash value once the Expedition Window closes and not during the initial registration. This will let you continue looting and crafting right until the departure begins.

You will receive one bonus skill point for every million coins of combined stash and wallet value. It’ll let you get a maximum of five points during this phase. However, the temporary buff persists only if you participate in upcoming Expeditions.

It will eventually expire once you skip an exploration window. Only the cosmetic rewards, stash space, and earned skill points remain permanent regardless of future participation. For now, Embark plans to strengthen these buffs for players that complete multiple Expeditions.

Conclusion

Collectors shouldn’t waste their chance of getting the Patchwork Raider Outfit in the upcoming Expedition window in ARC Raiders! However, take note that it requires wiping off your current progression and going back to square one. You can only retain certain items if you opt for a reset during the expedition.
