What Is The Marked for Death Quest

This is one of Tian Wen’s missions which tasks you to check on her cache at the Su Durante Warehouses. It involves investigating whether someone has tampered her stash in the Buried City. Although this is much easier as it focuses on a single location in the outskirts area compared to other complex quests.

Keep in mind that you don’t need to extract from the Buried City to complete it. You only have to finish the objectives and either continue looting, work on other quests, or take your leave as you like. This quest is especially ideal for those low on resources or want to minimize any risks.

Locating the Su Durante Warehouses

You can find the Su Durante Warehouses in the northwestern corner of the Buried City map. It is in the outskirts instead of the center, which makes the area somewhat isolated. However, it’ll work in your favor since you’ll encounter fewer patrolling Arcs compared to central areas. 

Still, don’t let its remote location fool you into a false sense of security. Despite being on the outskirts, the warehouses may still attract other players working on the quest or looting the area. Remember to keep your guard up as you approach the location. There might be AI enemies and rival raiders that may spoil your plan along the way.

Finding Tian Wen’s Cache

After arriving at the Su Durante Warehouse, your goal is to find where Tian Wen’s cache is located. Often, players make a mistake while searching as they head straight inside the warehouse building itself. Instead, what you have to do is to search the building’s exterior and follow these steps:

1. 1. Head to the west area of the warehouse and walk along its outside wall.
   2. While moving along the perimeter, try to find a square container pushed against the wall. This is likely the same type from your previous encounters that can be breached and searched.
   3. The container is marked in yellow to make it easier to spot.
   4. Then, interact with this container to discover the cache and continue your progress in the quest.

Following the Clues to Complete the Quest

Once you’re done examining the cache, another objective will appear asking you to follow the displayed clues. It may get confusing in this part since the game doesn’t provide you with explicit directions. However, you can easily solve this through the following:

1. 1. Turn around 180 degrees while standing and facing the cache. You should be looking away from the container.
   2. After that, you’ll see a cluster of trees placed directly behind you.
   3. Walk a short distance west into the wooded areas and search among the trees.
   4. Then, in the middle of the tree line, you’ll find a piece of metal sticking out of the sand. 
   5. This metal fragment will be the clue that you’re looking for.
   6. Interacting with this will complete the Marked for Death quest.

Tips To Succeed In Marked For Death Quest

Remember that extraction isn’t required to complete this quest. These are some tips you can follow to ensure task completion and avoid any loss during the raid. 

1. 1. Consider entering the raid with a free loadout to avoid losing any valuable gear or resources. 
   2. After completing the objectives, you can switch to better equipment for next activities.
   3. If you decide to extract after finishing the quest, you can head southeast from Su Durante Warehouse. This leads you toward the Library POI then finds the Northern Station which serves as an extraction point. Doing this lets you safely leave Buried City and return to Tian Wen to claim your reward.
   4. Stay alert throughout the mission despite the less presence of threats in the outskirts. 
   5. Keep your weapons ready and your eyes on your surroundings to prevent any unexpected ambushes.

Marked For Death is one of the simplest quests available in ARC Raiders. This only requires you to search Tian Wen’s caches and does not require any extraction.
