Arc Raiders is finally launching! The Server Slam kicks off on October 17, 2025, followed by the full release on October 30, 2025. Whether you’re gearing up for PvE battles or PvP raids, this all-in-one guide covers quests, traders, crafting, weapons, loadouts, maps, loot tiers, and extraction strategies—giving you the ultimate head start.
Quests & Challenges
Quests come from traders and reward XP plus crafting materials or gear. Your squad can complete quests for you, making teamwork essential.
-
Quests: Earn XP, items, and progress toward achievements.
-
Challenges: Linked to the Battle Pass. Grant Cred, the in-game currency for unlocking skins, weapon bundles, and Raider Tokens.
Trader Locations & Items
Each trader specializes in different supplies:
-
Celeste – Currently offers quests; items expected late game.
-
Shaunie – Security trader selling hatch keys and supply gear.
-
Tan Win – Firearms and ammunition dealer.
-
Apollo – Grenade and gadget supplier.
-
Lance – Medic trader for shields, healing items, and defibrillators.
Crafting & Workbenches
Your Workshop is where item creation happens. Scrappy delivers loot, while benches unlock with levels and materials:
-
Basic Bench: Shields, guns, consumables.
-
Equipment Bench: Augments, armor.
-
Weapon Bench: Gun upgrades, attachments.
-
Med Station: Healing kits, armor replenishments.
-
Explosive Bench: Mines, grenades.
-
Refiner: Converts common items into rare gear.
-
Utility Bench: Zip lines, cloaks, flares.
Crafting requires scavenged items; recycling unwanted gear returns core components.
Skills, Mastery & Customization
-
Skill Tree: Choose Conditioning, Mobility, or Survival to enhance sprint duration, carry weight, and movement speed.
-
Mastery: PvE/PvP goals with Bronze, Silver, and Gold completion rewards.
-
Appearance: Change skins from owned cosmetics or preview store items.
Loadouts & Augments
Two ways to enter raids:
-
Custom Loadout: Player-chosen gear, 3 safe slots (reduced to 2 with augments), lose items on death.
-
Free Loadout: Random gear, no safe slots, keep loot if extracted.
Augments improve armor capacity but reduce safe space. Watch weight—heavier loadouts reduce speed and stamina.
Weapons & Upgrades
Weapon classes include:
-
Shotguns / Light Weapons: SMGs, pistols—best for close-quarters combat.
-
Medium Weapons: Assault rifles—balanced PvE/PvP performance.
-
Energy Weapons: Specialized damage types.
-
Heavy Weapons: Snipers, hand cannons—excellent against Arc AI and long-range players.
Upgrades:
-
Attachments: Boost specific stats.
-
Weapon Leveling: Enhances multiple attributes; increases magazine size for some models.
Repair weapons and shields at the cost of coins after raids.
Map Layouts & Loot Zones
Each map features varying environments and day/night cycles.
-
Day Maps: Always available.
-
Night Maps: Time-limited.
Loot zones are color-coded—White (low), Orange (medium), Red (high). Higher loot zones are guarded by stronger Arc enemies.
Some areas require keys found in containers or purchased from traders. Extraction points include:
-
Elevator & Train Extracts: Timed access—must activate consoles.
-
Hatch Extracts: Key required—time-limited open period for multiple players.
Loot Types & Rarities
Rarity tiers: Gray (Common), Green (Uncommon), Blue (Rare), Purple (Epic), Gold (Legendary).
Loot categories:
-
Combat: Weapons, ammo, gadgets.
-
Consumables: Healing items.
-
Crafting: Materials, recipes (must extract or store safely).
-
Valuables: High-value sale items for coins.
Arc AI Enemies
Arc enemies vary in size, tactics, and loot drops. Some drop Arc Power Cells for armor restoration. Heavy weapons are highly recommended in these encounters.
Extra Features & Tips

Team-Ups: Temporary alliances using emotes; beware—friendly fire is possible.
-
Res Non-Teammates: Use defibrillators to revive anyone.
-
Downed Extraction: You can still escape while downed by interacting with extraction consoles.
-
Throwable Arc Drops: Use dropped items for crowd control or damage.
