  • Alongside keeping gameplay fresh, the new Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Team-Up abilities also works in favor of underperforming or underutilized heroes.

There’s no power quite like the power of friendship. In Marvel Rivals, teaming up with the right allies can be the key to an overwhelming victory. For Season 2.5, six new hero combinations can take your superhero matches to the next level. Here are all the new Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 team-up abilities and which hero partners you’d need.

Symbiote Shenanigans

This team-up is a healing upgrade to Jeff the Land Shark with Venom sharing his symbiote with him. With this, Jeff can extend the symbiote through tendrils that reach his allies, allowing him to connect with them. When connected this way, Jeff can constantly heal all connected allies even in the middle of team fights. This proves much more valuable in teams that like to stick together making them harder to take down.

Jeff-Nado

Jeff the Land Shark mains, rejoice! This adorable little shark gets another Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 team-up with Storm. As long as both heroes have their ultimates available, there’ll be a large, looming threat over their enemies. The Jeff-Nado combines their ultimates to create a massive tornado that Storm can guide across the battlefield. This deals sustained damage to all enemies it touches before finishing with a powerful final explosion. When timed right, it can wipe out the entire enemy team.

Rocket Network

A second, smaller Bionic Spider Nest built by Rocket Raccoon alongside Peni Parker’s original one definitely poses a bigger threat. Just imagine many more Spider-Drones crawling all over your enemies while Rocket’s nest also drops armor packs for your team. Meanwhile, Peni upgrades Rocket’s Battle Rebirth Beacon to spawn Spider-Drones, Cyber-Webs, and Arachno-Mines. One downside, however, is that Rocket’s enhanced beacons cannot operate simultaneously with his standard ones.

Operation Microchip

The Punisher upgrades Black Widow‘s rifle with advanced technology, giving her a piercing beam attack. This new firing mode lets Black Widow’s shots penetrate through multiple enemies in a straight line, dealing significant damage to clustered opponents. This Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 team-up excels at breaking enemy formations and punishing teams that hide behind cover. Additionally, it provides Black Widow with much-needed utility, addressing her current underwhelming performance in the meta.

Chilling Assault

Luna Snow creates a special ice arrow for Hawkeye that can pierce through terrain and obstacles. The arrow deals bonus damage based on distance, and long-range shots also stun targets, creating follow-up opportunities for your team. Skilled Hawkeye players with good precision will find this team-up particularly rewarding. In addition, this also provides excellent crowd control potential.

Stark Protocol

Iron Man shares his advanced technology with Ultron, granting the villain access to powerful laser beams. These lasers pierce through enemies while simultaneously healing any teammates caught in the beam’s path. This Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 team-up combines offense and support in one devastating package.

Conclusion

Along with the addition of these new Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Team-Up abilities, four existing ones have been discontinued. Jeff the Land Shark and Luna Snow, Black Widow and Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon and The Punisher, plus Peni Parker and Venom team-ups are all being removed, encouraging players to adjust their strategies. As the 2.5 meta comes with changes, Marvel Rivals players must adapt and utilize these new power combinations to the fullest.

Which of these six team-ups are you most excited to use in your next matches?
