Preseason is heating up in FC 25, with EA rolling out the first real set of FC 26 rewards. Yesterday’s update introduced “The Club is Yours 1” objective, which grants an 80+ x10 pack in FC 26 and a five-match Hero loan pick. The catch is that it requires mixing squads with La Liga, Liga F, and Ligue 1 players across multiple wins and matches. It feels grindy, but stacking objectives makes it manageable.
A second carryover reward surfaced with the Preseason Crafting Upgrade, which after 100 completions unlocks an 82+ x5 FC 26 pack. Many players are speed-running this one by throwing in gold commons and rares. Once the 99-rated Antoine Griezmann objective card drops from completing it, there’s little incentive to keep going, so most will pivot back to the 83+ player pick.
In total, there are now three confirmed FC 26 rewards: the 80+ x10 from The Club is Yours 1, the 82+ x5 from the Crafting Upgrade, and the 85+ x5 from the Season 10 pass. EA hasn’t yet published a web tracker for these rewards, but the numbering hints at a Club is Yours 2 objective arriving next Friday.
SBCs and Transfer Cards in Focus
On the Squad Building Challenge side, things are busy. The biggest addition is Florian Wirtz’s Liverpool transfer SBC, which costs 18 squads. The card comes with five PlayStyle+ boosts, strong stats, and decent value thanks to the duplicate storage grind.
Alongside him sits Nuno Mendes, featured in a Portuguese Nations League winners SBC. It costs nine squads and has a sharp dynamic image, but most players agree the 99-rated version is far more attractive. EA also refreshed the Campaign Pick SBC, now a one-of-six, but unfortunately untradeable. It requires nine 88+ cards plus a Team of the Week or Team of the Season, which makes it trickier than past versions.
A fresh TOTS player pick provides a backup. This one-of-three untradeable option is simple to craft and helps recycle mid-tier fodder back into exchange packs. It fits the grind loop well, especially as 87-rated cards lose relevance while 88s and 89s remain vital.
FC 25 Evolutions: Wizard of Joy and Full Kit Warrior
Two new Evolutions launched as well. Wizard of Joy upgrades center attacking mids with five PlayStyle+ boosts, including First Touch, Tiki Taka, Flare+, Dead Ball, and Low Driven. It also adds role traits like Shadow Striker and Playmaker+. However, at 150,000 coins, it feels overpriced considering the Evo cap sits at 98. Players have used it on icons like R9 (Ronaldo Nazário), Neymar, and Ronaldinho, but some argue EA is still holding back the true endgame Evo power curve.
The free option, Full Kit Warrior, upgrades center mids with four PlayStyle+ boosts: Long Ball, Quick Step, Incisive Pass, and Press Proven. Capped at 95 overall, it is serviceable but again leaves players wishing for higher thresholds such as 97. Leaks suggest more 95-capped Evolutions are still to come.
Market Shifts and Unlimited 85×10 Speculation
Market trends remain a big talking point. Team of the Week cards hover near 20K, while Team of the Season fodder rose to 27–30K yesterday, partly because EA skipped lightning rounds. The new TOTS pick will steady supply, but the demand from SBC grinds continues to push values upward. Traders who list high and wait for lazy buyers are still profiting daily.
The centerpiece of speculation, however, is the 85+ x10 pack. Players expect it to go unlimited this weekend, much earlier than in past years. If it happens, it would supercharge fodder demand and likely pave the way for the first 99-rated player SBC. Leaks point to Laurent Blanc, chosen by E-World Cup champion Mena Bashore, as the debut 99. His stats feature 99 defending, 98 physical, and elite PlayStyle+ abilities like Block, Pinged Pass, Aerial, and Slide Tackle.
Other leaks include Gervinho, Olivier Giroud, Leny Yoro, and transfer cards such as João Félix, João Pedro, Kyle Walker, and Mohammed Kudus. With that many SBCs lined up, EA is clearly saving a double drop for Saturday. Whether it’s Blanc alongside Eusébio or Ronaldinho, expectations are high.
