All Destiny 2 Leaks So Far: Edge of Fate Weapons, Perks, and More

Bungie has revealed a wave of updates following the launch of Destiny 2: Edge of Fate, including community feedback, new exotic quests, and perk changes. Players who’ve completed the legendary campaign can expect to hit 100 Power, which is raid-ready for the upcoming contest on July 19. Bungie also clarified a misleading tooltip stating 140 Power for contest, which will be patched.

One of the major rewards is the Graviton Spike, a new hand cannon that’s tied to a craftable exotic questline. Fragments of its catalyst can be found on Kepler, Destiny 2’s newest destination. While some find the mechanics of Kepler jarring, features like the relocator cannon and metamorph system are being praised.

A hidden exotic rocket launcher has also been teased with a perk called Coronal Culmination, which charges and releases solar payloads for increased damage. Spoiler-aware players might want to steer clear, but it’s an exciting potential meta-shifting addition.

Ammo Economy Changes and Known Issues (Destiny 2)

The ammo system in Edge of Fate has come under scrutiny. Players noted a severe drop in special and heavy ammo from bricks, even with mods like Arc Scaffold equipped. Bungie dev Hercules confirmed this change was intentional due to increased drop rates—but acknowledged that two-shot pickups are likely a bug and under investigation.

Other issues include:

  • Weasel errors when launching PvP playlists (temporary fix: use the portal).

  • PS5 audio bugs and 4K display login crashes, which can be bypassed by lowering resolution.

  • Players having trouble with Mattis Spark on Kepler are advised to remap vehicle fire buttons.

Feedback is also mounting around the color desaturation of the old director map, with Bungie seemingly downplaying its relevance in favor of the portal. While likely intentional, it hasn’t gone over well with fans.

Perk Adjustments and Raid Preparation

The destabilizing rounds perk no longer grants volatile rounds on all kills. Instead, as Bungie’s DMG explains, it only activates when a void burst hits an additional target. This aligns with the perk’s original design, correcting a bug that allowed volatile rounds on any kill.

Meanwhile, Kepler continues to offer powerful rewards through side quests and ability chests. These can be completed even after finishing the campaign and are ideal for post-campaign power boosts in any world tier.

The new raid contest mode kicks off on July 19 at 10 a.m., with 100 Power required for entry. Players who skipped the legendary campaign should aim for that threshold through alternate sources.

Solstice Leaks and Ornament Controversy

A new Conditional Finality Trials ornament will be purchasable in the Eververse store after players go flawless in Trials. The item will launch first for silver, then later for bright dust. The decision to gate the ornament behind both gameplay performance and monetization has sparked debate, but Bungie maintains it’s similar to past exotic cosmetics tied to content unlocks.

Solstice 2025 leaks reveal a new grenade launcher and SMG available up to gear tier 5. Armor previews and ornaments show a neon beach theme inspired by Vice City. These cosmetics and weapon skins will be tied to specific pursuits when the event begins, likely in August.

As Edge of Fate settles in and more leaks drop, the community’s attention turns to raid strategies, loot tables, and endgame grinds. A deeper breakdown of Kepler’s post-campaign offerings is expected as more players reach the later stages.
