AC Shadows added Headucation Quest alongside the A Puzzlement storyline for a new training missions in feudal Japan. This teaches you to focus on stealth instead of combat, unlocking a key ability for Yasuke. Here’s a complete guide on how you can complete the AC Shadows Headucation Quest!

What Is Takedown

You have to finish a few quests in order first before you can start the Headucation quest. Find a locked Glyph Door to begin the A Puzzlement questline and meet Kinu and Kane. Afterwards, complete Teach a Dog New Kicks, unlocking Yasuke’s Dropkick ability.

Then, wait until the next in-game day or fast travel so you can advance time quickly. Also, Headucation teaches you about the Takedown ability if you want to quietly take down your enemies from behind. This skill is useful for Yasuke who usually fights loudly with his heavy weapons.

How Takedown Works in AC Shadows Training

To begin the lessons, stand directly behind Kinu until an interactive prompt appears on your screen. Then, press E on your keyboard, Y (Xbox), or Trianlge (PlayStation) so you can perform the chokehold. After that, it will show the Takedowns only work when undetected from behind, forcing Kinu to not move.

Next, you have to crouch and hide from Kane who has been watching his patrol pattern carefully. Wait for his back to fully face you before approaching him quietly to execute the Takedown. Plus, avoid those common mistakes like moving fast, staying crouched, or positioning directly behind Kane’s back.

Rewards For Completing Headucation Quest

Once you’ve completed Headucation, you can unlock Yasuke’s Takedown ability. You’ll get riddle scrolls from Kinu and Kane to guide you toward more Glyphs hidden across the map. Then collect all Glyphs to see extra story content as well as exploration-based rewards. Moreover, it also has the key to unlock Battle of the Bests, which is the ultimate test of all.

Using Takedowns and Tips

Mix stealth with Yasuke’s heavy combat style after you unlock the Takdown. Start your missions by silently eliminating the guards before switching to Kanabo attacks after getting spotted. Also, hide bodies in bushes or haystack if you want top prevent alarms and your stealth.

Also, use the Takedowns so you can reposition during fights and before re-engaging. This quest isn’t just a story addition but also teaches you another gameplay mechanics. In each mission, you’ll have to teach Kinu and Kane through Naoe and Yasuke.

Also, solving the Glyph Door puzzles will uncover lore about the Assassin-Templar conflict way back. After you complete the quest, it should strengthen your abilities, especially the AC Shadows world.

Final Thoughts

Headucation Quest is one of the new questline available in AC Shadows featuring Naoe. It focuses on stealth by letting Naoe teach the Takedown ability towards Kinu and Kane. After finishing this quest, you’ll get riddle scrolls for Glyphs tracking and access the Battle of the Bests.
