The FPX vs. Heretics series was an absolute banger. Riens had an important round where they were on an eco. He only had a classic in hand, and they were down 6-7. Riens comes through with remarkable headshots, hitting a thrifty and tying the game. FPX often finds themselves in the group of death and always seem to play against the best teams. Heretics didn’t play at their best, but Woot led the team impressively, even though he wasn’t able to make it for Shanghai. Heretics are more beatable than they initially appeared.
The Abyss went 12-12, and Heretics won the overtime. Riens had a massive map one. Bind was 13-9 to FPX on Heretics’ pick. Autumn on the chamber was cool to see. Lotus had another remarkable overtime, and Heretics won 13-15. Heretics will move on to play Gen.G to decide the number one seed from the group of death. Gen.G advanced by taking down Sentinels. Zelsis said those guys are the ones to watch and always win the first one, but Sentinels aren’t in the same form now as before.
